Step off the street into Aim Medical Imaging, located conveniently at Broadway and Hemlock. Our waiting room is well-lit and inviting, with plenty of entertainment available to you as you wait for your appointment. Aim Medical Imaging is the only MRI clinic in Vancouver to accept walk-in patients.
Putting Aim Medical Imaging’s interior features online has given prospective patients a unique opportunity: to view the Siemens Open Bore T-Class MRI machine, the only one of its kind in Vancouver. In person, only authorized individuals and patients are permitted through this door, due to the strong magnetic field produced by the machine.
All of our patients have access to their own private changing rooms equipped with everything they may need. Patients are given the key to their dressing room so they can feel confident that their belongings are held safely for the duration of their scan.
Most importantly, here is our MRI machine. As you can see, it is large and open, perfect for supporting larger patients, or patients who may have issues with claustrophobia. We also have an iPod dock onsite, and our technologist will be happy to play the music of your choice to make your scan more enjoyable. Since patient satisfaction is our defining feature—our motto is ‘Treat patients the way you want to be treated when you are a patient’—we feel that enabling patients to look inside our clinic online is just an extension of that philosophy.
